A short origin story

PipeMail was started to solve a longstanding problem we encountered using SugarCRM; archiving email conversations to the CRM.

Having customised and managed multiple CRMs for our clients, our SugarCRM clients repeatedly reported frustrations with existing email archiving solutions. In particular, those solutions required software installations so users were restricted to a small set of email clients, limiting users’ ability to choose their own email client or even do a simple thing like archive from the smartphone or tablet.

Eventually, we had had enough, so we built PipeMail to make email archiving as simple as it should be - as simple as sending an email, and with no software to install.
